About me
For over 17 years, Mushira Catalina de Arazuri has immersed herself in the world of medieval women's studies through the Society for Creative Anachronism. Her passion lies in the rich, expressive dance traditions of Persia, Central Asia, Egypt, and Rome. Catalina brings history to life by exploring how women moved, celebrated, and expressed identity through dance across cultures and centuries. Whether teaching, performing, or researching, she weaves together scholarship and storytelling to illuminate the lives of medieval women through movement.
