A hands-on workshop where participants will construct their own "boffer" sword, perfect for training, unarmored combat sports, or safe play. With guided instruction and all materials provided, everyone will leave with a finished sword to keep, along with a take-home handout that includes step-by-step instructions and a materials list for future projects.

Hirsch has been participating in armored combat, rapier, and boffer combat for decades, has raised sons who love the sport as much as he does, and will talk about Greatsword or Sword and Buckler combat at the drop of a hat.
